A true testament to Deborah’s success is the way in which she successfully handles every type of market, whether it is a down-market, an up-market, or anything in-between. Through her tenacity, Deborah has achieved the distinction of being the Brooklyn Heights’ Broker of the Year every single year that she has been a broker, including her first year in the business. She is also a member of the Corcoran President’s Council which represents the top 25 brokers in the entire company.
Most recently Deborah has furthered her reputation through the quick sell-out of multiple condominium projects throughout the borough while simultaneously maintaining her re-sale business. Deborah has always believed that these two sides of the business greatly inform one another. Without a keen understanding of what buyers want, she believes that it is impossible to design, stage or price a new listing or new development project. At the same time, it is impossible to help an individual buyer navigate a negotiation without understanding the mind of a seller and the intricacies of comparable properties based on location, condition and size. Her valuable insights have been quoted regularly in both consumer and trade publications, including the New York Times, Crain’s Business, and New York Magazine.Originally from Boston, she came to New York to attend Barnard College as an undergraduate, and moved back here after earning her masters in design and photography at the Rochester Institute of Technology. Deborah exhibited her many creative talents first working in museum design, then in graphic art and art direction for many of the biggest publishing companies in the world, including AOL Time Warner, Disney, and McGraw-Hill. She proudly brings these design and marketing skills to all of the properties entrusted to her by sellers.
