JEANNE MOUTOUSSAMY-ASHE, a photographer and the widow of the tennis player Arthur Ashe, recently sold a three-bedroom duplex on the Upper East Side. It closed last month for $2.125 million.

The apartment is a 2,400-square-foot condo in Leighton House at 360 East 88th Street. The property was listed with the Corcoran Group, and the most recent asking price was $2.499 million. According to StreetEasy, it was first listed in February of 2008 for $3.495 million.

Spencer Means, the Corcoran broker who sold the property, did not respond to a request for comment.

Ms. Moutoussamy-Ashe has published several books of photography, including “Daufuskie Island,” about African-Americans living off the coast of South Carolina, and “Daddy and Me: A Photo Story of Arthur Ashe and his Daughter Camera.” Her photographs recently appeared at the Gibbes Museum of Art in Charleston, S.C.

Mr. Ashe won the United States Open, the Australian Open and Wimbledon, and is considered one of the best American players ever. He was the recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, among America’s highest civilian honors.

He died in 1993 at age 49.
