Baz Luhrmann, who directed fellow Aussie Nicole Kidman in both “Moulin Rouge” and “Australia,” checked out a three-bedroom, $21,000 penthouse rental at 304 Spring St. in the Hudson Square area.

 

The duplex apartment has two fireplaces, a temperature-controlled wine room with space for 1,500-plus bottles, a solarium/outdoor yoga area and a 1,200-square-foot roof deck with its own Viking kitchen, plus a grill and outdoor shower.

 

We hear that actress Meg Ryan and comedian Lewis Black have also seen the penthouse. Corcoran Group broker Lydia Sussek has the listing.
