Is Lady Gaga a Gimme Shelter fan? One day after we mentioned a $21,000-a-month penthouse rental at 304 Spring St., the over-the-top musician checked out the three-bedroom, three-bathroom, 3,000-square-foot duplex.

 

Gaga seems to be going gaga for real estate. She’s reportedly rented a Los Angeles mansion for $25,000 and was also recently spotted looking around for Hamptons beach houses.

 

We hear Gaga visited the Spring Street rental (which has also brought in director Baz Luhrmann recently) wearing knee-high stockings, a garter belt, a black tunic, a blond wig, red lipstick and high, high heels. And the “Paparazzi” singer might like the idea of hiding from photographers on the penthouse’s 1,200-square-foot private roof deck, which includes a Viking kitchen and outdoor shower.

 

Corcoran Group listing broker Lydia Sussek had no comment.
