A penthouse condominium at the Mayfair on Park Avenue was the highest sale of the week, according to city property records.

The seller, David Chu, the founder of the fashion label Nautica, first put the 7,700-square-foot duplex on the market in March 2010, listing it for $32.8 million with the Corcoran Group. (According to Curbed.com, Mr. Chu and his wife, Gina, have moved to 15 Central Park West.)

The condominium, at 610 Park Avenue at East 65th Street, was also available for rent at one point, for $75,000 a month, and the sale price was reduced twice since it was listed, to the last asking price of $25.8 million. It has five bedrooms and five and a half baths, as well as a 1,450-square-foot roof terrace. The buyer was listed under a limited liability company.

Big Ticket includes closed deals from the previous week, ending Wednesday.
