One of the last original Norman Jaffe houses on Long Island is on the market in Bridgehampton for $6.995 million.

The 4,100-square-foot home, built in 1979, is part of the six-house cluster the architect designed on Sam's Creek, an arm of Mecox Bay. The same homeowners have maintained the residence since it was completed. In 1994, they added an indoor pool room and guest suites using Jaffe's designs.

The upstairs master wing has its own balcony with a view of the bay. The main floor has an two additional guest bedrooms as well as a great room with a fireplace, a living room, a kitchen and a dining room.

The added pool room houses a 35-foot indoor heated pool as well as a 35-foot skylight running the length of the lap pool. Past the pool atrium are the two guest bedrooms.

The open yard, which was part of Jaffe's plan, has a sprawling lawn that reaches all the way to the water's edge and stretches across the six properties. Jaffe and his wife, Sarah Jaffe Turnbull, were married on the shared lawns in 1986. They lived next door until 1989. Turnbull, in a phone interview, describes her wedding as "low key and sweet."

The listing agent is Gary DePersia of The Corcoran Group.
