Sunset Park Co-op • $420,000 • BROOKLYN • 683 41st Street, No. 18
A bright one-bedroom, one-bath corner apartment, with exposed brick, ceiling beams, wood floors, recessed lighting and windows in every room, across the street from Sunset Park in one of the neighborhood’s Finnish co-ops, which were constructed by immigrants from Finland in the early part of the last century. MAINTENANCE $534 a month
PROS With high ceilings and an open kitchen and living room, the apartment has a loft-like feel. A recent renovation added new wiring, finishes and fixtures. A large basement storage space is included.
CONS As configured, the kitchen does not have much counter or storage space. There is laundry in the basement, but washers and dryers are not permitted in the apartments. The building does not allow dogs.
