Roost's 50 RE People You Should Follow on Twitter for November 2009

Published: 11/1/2009Source: Roost.com

Can you believe it's already November? It may be getting cold outside but here at the Roost Blog, we are heating things up with our fifth installment of Roost's 50 Real Estate People You Should Follow on Twitter. If you are seeing this list for the first time, you need to stop and click the July List, August List, September List and October List first because you will have access to 200 real estate people that simply rock on Twitter. These lists will come in very handy if you are heading off to San Diego this week to attend REBarCamp San Diego and the NAR Conference & Expo as it will provide you with people you should make a point of meeting face-to-face.

In our fourth installment of "50 Featured." we are highlighting an industry veteran in Pam O'Connor AKA @LeadingrePam.

Like I always say, if you have someone you think should be part of the 50 for December, send me an email to derek.overbey@roost.com and give me their Name and Twitter handle and why we should add them to the mix. I hope you continue to enjoy these lists as much as I do in putting them together. Please note that the list below is not in ranking order (we like everyone equal). If you'd like to follow some of us here at Roost, you can click on @AlexChangSF, @doverbey or @roost.

"50 Featured" for November 2009 - Pam O'Connor AKA @LeadingrePam

Pam O'Connor, SCRP, is the President and CEO of Leading Real Estate Companies of the Worldr, a global real estate network comprised of more than 600 of the best-known local and regional real estate firms.

For more than 20 years, Pam has managed networks which ultimately were consolidated into Leading Real Estate Companies of the World. An honors graduate of the University of Tennessee, she began her career in television and later owned a public relations firm specializing in real estate and hospitality. She has been named one of the real estate industry's Most Influential People by Inman News for several years and serves on the Worldwide ERC Board of Directors.  She has earned ERC's President's Award and three Distinguished Service Awards.

I had the opportunity to meet Pam earlier this year at the Leading Real Estate Companies of the World Annual Conference in Scottsdale, AZ. She is smart, witty and engaging and she and her organization are embracing social technology with open arms which bodes well for their worldwide members.
