    About Ida
As The Corcoran Group’s Vice President of Agent Marketing and Business Development, Ida helps agents develop creative ways to market themselves and grow their business. “There is nothing I love more than to help an agent bring his or her business to the next level.” As the person responsible for building Corcoran’s advertising and marketing department from the ground up, Ida has more than a decade of experience identifying exactly which tools make sense for which agents, and why. “When I sit down with an agent, I seek to understand who he or she is, and determine the best way to translate that information into better business.” While Corcoran’s well of resources might be huge, Ida’s application of them is one-on-one. Whether holding an in-person marketing consultation with an agent or penning one of her famous “Top 11” best marketing practices lists, she is committed to making sure that every agent has the exact combination of resources they need. Whether it is helping an agent realize his or her potential by birthing a creative marketing campaign or crafting a tailored marketing plan for a specific property, Ida is there to give her expert guidance. Ida fell in love with real estate at an early age. Growing up in a small rental apartment in Brooklyn, her dream was to someday own a house. She was immediately drawn to the aesthetic aspect of real estate, an instinct she developed by spending hours drawing imaginary floor plans. Years later, she began her career in real estate at Sotheby’s. By working hard and tapping into her creative instincts, Ida made herself a valuable resource first there and then at Douglas Elliman, which stopped outsourcing its ad work and eventually brought everything in-house under Ida’s direction. After 15 years in the industry, Ida is as passionate about real estate as she has always been, but now channels some of that passion into the house she owns. She lives with her husband and two young sons in Westchester, where she occasionally keeps an eye out for any signs of her boys drawing floor plans.
