Andrew Levinson came to Corcoran in 2009 after several years as an attorney in private practice representing major clients with varying real estate interests. As Vice President of Business Affairs for all of Corcoran's offices in New York City, the Hamptons and Palm Beach, as well as Corcoran Sunshine Marketing and Citi-Habitats, he applies his business acumen and legal knowledge to several important areas. Andrew works directly with agents in streamlining complex commercial, new development, and high-stakes residential deals that require his professional background and legal insight. He also oversees Corcoran’s relationships with other real estate companies around the world, as well as with mortgage and title companies that complement Corcoran’s business by improving the level of service Corcoran provides to its clients. In addition, Andrew applies his expertise to Corcoran’s corporate legal needs, handling intricate intellectual property issues and important personnel matters. Prior to joining Corcoran, Andrew worked as a land use and zoning attorney at Cooley Godward, representing property owners and developers planning residential, office and mixed-use development projects. Before that, while an associate at Skadden Arps, he represented institutional lenders and investors involved with residential, commercial and industrial transactions. Andrew ultimately brought his corporate knowledge and institutional experience to a diverse clientele in the small business and non-profit community as a founding member of Riverside Strategic Advisors. Andrew Holds a BA in Ethics, Politics and Economics from Yale University and a JD from Harvard Law School. Licensed to practice law in the state of New York, he is member of the New York Bar Association and the Real Estate Board of New York. Andrew presently serves on the New York Regional Board of the Anti-Defamation League, where he is particularly involved with the organization’s interfaith outreach efforts. A former resident of Manhattan, he currently lives in Westchester with his wife, two daughters and their West Highland Terrier Bernie.
