As first time buyers, my wife and I required a lot of extra hand holding, as we navigated everything from neighborhood discovery to offer and closing processes, we could not have asked for a better partner than Julia. We wound up purchasing a home that we decided to do extensive renovations on prior to moving in, and Julia was both extremely knowledgable on all aspects of how to approach intertwining a renovations into the buying process, in addition to providing an extensive list of recommended contractors — including the one we ended up hiring (and who we are extremely happy with). Most prominently though, Julia truly cares about the people she works with; my wife and I lived in Manhattan while conducting our search in Westchester, and had no car and a 6 month old who tagged along to most viewings. During our house hunting phase, Julia constantly worked around our schedule, ensured every house we viewed was worth our time by pre-visiting, and even picked us up from the train station more than once. I am happy to recommend Julia to all prospective buyers. She was incredibly patient with me when I was looking recently at potential homes for my mother. She took us out to see all kinds of listings in all kinds of weather (and during a pandemic, no less). She researched our many (many) questions and found us answers quickly. She also has a great sense of style and can see a home's potential, and she was able to come up with design ideas that we never would have thought of on our own. For a variety of personal reasons we did not end up purchasing one of the homes we looked at, but - and this is to Julia's great credit - she continues to work with us and to treat us like valued clients. I know that when the time comes for us to make a purchase (and it will!) that she will negotiate the deal with the professionalism, dedication and integrity that she has always exhibited in our dealings with her. Update 6/23: We did ultimately purchase a co-op with Julia as our agent, and it all went flawlessly. Highly recommend!
