I longed passionately to return to New York after having relocated to a beautiful but searingly isolated area. There are no shortage of realtors when looking for a place to buy in NYC, and in a crowded field, Sam is a cut above the rest. My wife and I had already been through several realtors before finding Sam, and I knew from our very first conversation that this was someone who knew what they were talking about, was listening to what I was saying, and was honest. The 1st day we went to physically see apartments, we found the place we wanted, by the 3rd one. This was no accident... Moving is, on its best days, a trying experience. Sam was able to take the most anxiety inducing, stressful part of it and turn it into the smoothest. By far. In a few years we are going to need something bigger, and I will now do it the smart way, and involve Sam from the start.

Sam gave us room to manage situations and make decisions, but was never afraid to step in to manage logistics and expectations. Our search for a new rental unit was a smashing success, and it’s all down to Sam! We had a modest budget and an ambitious list of must-haves. He found us a wide range of options and was super knowledgeable about the Brooklyn neighborhoods we were targeting. He’s been incredibly patient, hardworking, energetic, kind, and helpful, and thanks to his negotiation skills we’ve found a lovely new place.

Sam really went above and beyond helping me find a home!! I highly recommend him. Through my homebuying processes my very picky asian-mom was also involved, and he was nothing but patient and kind with her! He has so much knowledge and experience. He would answer my questions again and again, and he never gave off an annoyed vibe! He felt like I was just talking to a friend most of the time which which was super awesome. His assistant Alex is also super duper cool!! Both of them are also extremely hard working and once again, I just highly recommend him!!

I was a novice, having rented my entire life, living in my previous apartment for 45 years. He prepared me for the financial aspects of the process, making clear the tasks I would need to complete. He coached me for the Board interview and mitigated my anxiety. He also worked well with the sellers and their agent. He was up front about his own stake in the process and I never felt that his desire to make the sale prevented him from honest communication about any part of the transaction. He was reliable, conscientious, is a good communicator and has a good sense of humor. I would recommend him to a friend and have done so.
