We had an exceptional experience purchasing a home in Alexandria with the help of Sandy McMaster. Sandy guided us through every step and recommended contractors to help with the renovations we want to do.

To be frank, I have a very high bar for what I expected for service at this price point, and Sandy McMaster exceeded our expectations at every phase. My wife and I both have MBAs, I have bought and sold many properties throughout our lives, and do not suffer fools gladly. The market really sucked because of the ever increasing interest rates but Sandy came up with out of the box ideas to work with potential buyers which eventually lead to a reasonable/acceptable offer.

Sandy was like a ninja when dealing with the other realtor, who kept lobbing unreasonable demands for fixes to imaginary deficiencies from the home inspection. Buyer started out asking for $4k in conditions. Had to spend $600 for structural engineer to convince buyer that there were no structural defects and another $200 to fix everything else, leading to $0 conditions at closing. Sandy provided sound advice on how to proceed, and I did the rest.

Sandy was outstanding. She handled everything prior to closing on the sale of my home because I had already moved from Virginia to Georgia. When I say everything, I mean everything - finding, negotiating with, and supervising substantial contractors' work in the crawlspace and a bathroom.

Sandy provided excellent service as both our buying and listing agent. She was very insightful about current market conditions in our neighborhood where we had a home to sell. She prepared us well for the process of listing, pricing, and showing our home. Our home went under contract with a strong offer the FIRST day on the market. We believe this was largely due to Sandy's experience and knowledge of the real estate market in the metro region. Sandy also acted as our buying agent and worked with us to find a dream home for the right price. We couldn't be happier and strongly recommend Sandy McMaster!

Sandy is very knowledgeable about the financial and the legal requirements of the buyer and the seller. Our daughter recently purchased a condo and she quickly and expeditiously handled all of the paperwork necessary. Her experience in the real estate market allowed her to answer all of our questions and she was very judicious in bringing about a settlement price that made both the buyer and the seller satisfied.
