Lynn Brahin is well-respected as an attorney but is also known for her passion as a local leader, community voice, and go-to for all things in the New Eastside. Upon becoming an Illinois Realtor, Lynn has represented clients through the boutique Corcoran Urban Real Estate office. For more than 30 years, Lynn has considered The New Eastside the undiscovered treasure in Chicago. With her backyard as Grant Park, Lakeshore East Park as her front yard, and the natural beauty of Lake Michigan and the iconic Michigan Avenue as her next-door neighbors, she feels fortunate to reside in the heart of the City. Since completing her formal education, Lynn has remained working, playing, and living downtown. Upon moving to Chicago, Lynn has worked with neighbors within the New Eastside of Residents (NEAR) on major initiatives that have become the world’s most iconic sites. Representing the residents, Lynn partnered with diverse changemakers and business leaders in influencing the design of Millennium Park and the Lakeshore East residential development, and the creation of The Bloch Cancer Survivors Garden. Lynn was resourced to the Grant Park Master Planning Committee, which led to Grant Park improvements and the design of The Navy Pier Flyover. She has mastered the nuances of urban living; from whom to call, where to go, and how to get there.
Lynn knows Chicago’s 77 neighborhoods, but most particularly the area around the Central Business District. So much so, The Chicago Association of Realtors recently chose her not only as, the Loop community representative but also as the central region representative to “The 77”, The newly formed Diversity Committee. Lynn and her husband Louis live in The Buckingham and have proudly raised their children, Lenny and Lizzy, in this New Eastside boutique high-rise. Lynn eased the commuting challenges for urban families by establishing the community school bus to transport students to and from school and after-school activities. Lynn’s innovative volunteer efforts in the schools and community organizations continue to make sustainable differences around Chicago. Prior to real estate, Lynn served as an arbitrator and hearing officer. Her legal practice involves fact-finding and data determinations and presiding over financial, discipline, employment, and injury matters. Lynn’s knowledge of Chicago, paired with her vast legal experience as a strong, smart negotiator, make her an invaluable partner to clients seeking to smoothly navigate the evolving real estate process.
Serving real estate clients allows Lynn the added gratitude of helping others by selling strong, renting right, or buying strategically. Lynn works patiently and persistently with clients from all over the world. They rely on her expertise and resourcefulness to understand their options in securing that Chicago housing dream. Her enthusiasm for easy access to world-class arts & culture coupled with thriving local dining and natural treasures is contagious. How should Lynn connect with you?
Clients share praise for Lynn Brahin.
"It was a pleasure to work with Lynn Brahin. She made the rental process a pleasure which in the past was not always enjoyable. Her follow-up was outstanding throughout the whole process, and her communication between myself and the owners was smooth, consistent, reliable, and prompt. Once the deal was done, she didn’t disappear like some realtors in the past. She continued to guide me through the process all the way until I moved in and then some. Her experience as a realtor and as an attorney makes her an expert in her field. Thank you, Lynn!" - Victoria W.
