She thrives in assisting the global community that IS NYC and delights in the deep meaning of home. Whether helping a buyer define and achieve their personal vision of home, or strategizing with her sellers to add their listings to her 97% over-ask sales record, it always brings great joy to see a new window open. Tonya’s drive, exceptionally fast response, and nuanced interpersonal skills get the job done. Born in Yonkers, Tonya is a native New Yorker. Growing up, her family relocated often allowing her to intricately understand the many aspects of moving. From Westchester to Westport, Connecticut; the upper east side to other areas of the country to living abroad in Prague, Czech Republic, and Rome, Italy, she loves being a world citizen with twenty-five of her own moves to speak of. Tonya made Brooklyn her permanent residence many years ago. Before real estate, she worked as a violinist and educator at the United Nations International School. As a musician, she learned to listen beyond words. She attributes this skill along with her tireless work ethic as keys to her success. When not running around town working, she's running around with her young daughter and husband enjoying playgrounds, parks, restaurants, live performances, and wine. She resides in Greenwood Heights with her family and their two quarantine cats Daisy and Rose.
