About Neal AkinNeal Akin, a proud 3rd generation native San Diegan, got his start in the business world at an early age managing his family’s hugely successful local restaurant, D.Z. Akins. Being a part of a family owned business taught Neal invaluable lessons about the importance of patience, integrity, perseverance and hard work. Neal later broadened his professional experience taking a management position for the widely respected Pinnacle of Customer Service, Nordstrom, where he spent two years providing personalized service of the highest level to his clients.
With the accumulated experiences of his past professional enterprises, Neal was strategically well positioned to apply his management, service and people skills to assist buyers and sellers in San Diego’s burgeoning real estate market, and in July of 2007, he did just that and embarked upon his career in real estate. With the mortgage boom quickly coming to a crumbling end , Neal grasped at the opportunity and thrived at a time when much of the real estate industry came crashing down around him.
Since 2007, Neal has excelled in representing both buyers and sellers in San Diego County’s unique and complex real estate market. Neal’s extensive experience with short sales, bank-owned properties and traditional sales combined with his unique blend of creativity, hard work, knowledge and a genuine desire to help his clients distinguishes him as one of San Diego’s elite real estate agents.
Neal joined the Coastal Premier Properties team in 2010, creating a perfect fit as the team mentality, positive attitude and incredible work ethic are paramount to success for Neal and his clients. CPP principals Amy Green and Susan Meyers-Pyke lead the team and motivate everyone to perform at their best at all times.
The practice of real estate sales has lost something critical over the past several years, and Neal strives to bring back the service, consistent communication and honesty that are cardinal to how he conducts his business. He believes in educating his clients, making them comfortable and confident in making the right decision.
Neal’s knowledge of the county is expansive and detailed, having lived from the South Bay to San Diego. This intimate familiarity with the region is a unique benefit to Neal’s clients and has been instrumental in helping him close real estate transactions from Otay Ranch to Oceanside and everywhere in between.
