Diane has been both a Broker and a Managing Broker for area real estate companies for many years, as well as a local resident, which adds a great personal knowledge of the area to her ability to market and sell listings in Westchester, Putnam and Dutchess Counties. Diane and her husband Scott, a retired financial planner, and their two sons are all actively involved in the local business, politics and charitable endeavors, of the area. Diane served as a 2014 president of the Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors and has served as a Director of the same 11,000+ member association for many years. . Before coming to Real Estate, Diane spent 15 years as a theatrical agent in New York City representing clients, such as Tom Cruise, in film, TV and Broadway ventures. Her background in contract negotiations for these clients has enabled Diane to combine a detail-oriented and problem-solving nature with a true love and understanding of people. She has been recognized as the NAR local” Realtor of the Year” in 2001, 2002 and 2005. Diane has held the positions of: President for the Putnam Association of Realtors (2002-2005) and Hudson Gateway Association of Realtors (2014), Chair of the New York State Association of Realtors Global and Second Home Committee in 2006 and 2021, and directorships for many years on both state and national boards. In 2005 Diane was honored to accept the National Association of Realtors position of” President’s Liaison” to Bulgaria and served in this role for 5 years, thus allowing her expertise to incorporate the international knowledge and exposure that few practitioners experience. A commitment to this standard of excellence requires continuing educational upgrades and Diane’s multiple designations attest to that. She always aims to maintain a knowledge of cutting-edge technologies, incorporating those that aid her clients in all their real estate endeavors. With this same commitment to excellence Diane created The Cummins Team in 2018 and it is currently a 7 agent team where passion for the real estate industry and a commitment to ethical business practices are paramount to their success. Diane’s downtime is spent working on Ancestry.com and the family history, as a member of the Mayflower Descendants Society and Daughters of the American Revolutions, it is a long and interesting one. She also tries to find occasional time for her love of studying the Russian language. Top this off with the families’ two Puli dogs and you have a complete view of a Realtors’ life.
