    Boca Raton

    While many South Florida cities came to be via resourceful real estate developers, Boca Raton had the extra fortune of being founded by architect Addison Mizner. Mizner had established a reputation with New York society and carried it to Palm Beach before setting his eyes on unincorporated farmland to the south that would grow today’s beloved city.
