Ippei is a native New Yorker who grew up in the artist community of Soho. A dedicated professional, Ippei combines tenacious service with cool-headed insights to obtain the best deal for his clients. One of his favorite parts of the job is listening to clients and answering questions, and guiding them through the process.

Leaving the city only to attend college, Ippei has also lived in the East Village, Lower East Side, Upper West Side, Gramercy/Union Square, and Brownstone Brooklyn. He has been an owner and landlord, renter, investor, and has worked with co-op boards.

Prior to working in real estate, Ippei enjoyed a 13-year career in Finance where he worked for an investment bank turning around businesses, worked as an research analyst, and was the head of institutional sales for a research boutique. His prior experience taught him important lessons about patience, follow-through, and discretion, which have all come in handy in the real estate business. Ippei is the product of New York schools VCS, Stuyvesant, and Binghamton, is a CFA charterholder, studied real estate at NYSSA and NYREI, and commercial real estate at REAP NY (Real Estate Associate Program) sponsored by the ICSC (Int'l Council of Shopping Centers).

When not working hard for clients, Ippei enjoys globe-trotting, dining out with family and friends, and watching his wife, a three-time national champion, play flat-track roller derby.
