About Ayumi

Ayumi Otaki was named Senior Managing Director of Corcoran's successful Williamsburg office after years of working closely with U.S. and international clients as an accomplished sales agent with the company. Her innate sense of fairness and commitment to the values of honesty and integrity, coupled with her outstanding track record and knowledge, paved the path for her management role helping agents excel in their careers.

Ayumi has gained diverse expertise in all types of real estate throughout Brooklyn and Manhattan, including condominiums and co-ops to multi-family houses, brownstones and commercial properties. Drawing on her experience, she is now responsible for overall office supervision, agent hiring and recruiting. Ayumi is passionate about her team, working one on one with each agent to help them develop a business plan, implement a strategy and further their success. Her natural interpersonal, leadership and negotiating skills, and ability to recognize and capitalize on changing market trends, have always served her well. Born in France and raised in San Francisco, she speaks fluent French, Spanish, Italian and English. Ayumi also lived in Costa Rica while working as a translator for a non-profit project.

With a French mother and Japanese father, her international background gives her a deep understanding of all cultures and walks of life.

Ayumi moved to New York after earning her Bachelor degree from the California Institute of Integral Studies with a concentration in Comparative Eastern and Western Philosophy, Culture & Thought. She lives in Greenpoint, Brooklyn, and is an avid traveler, photographer and food enthusiast.
