Rich Cribs: Skydel's Sagaponack home sells

ROCK LEGEND HOME. A four-bedroom, four-bath postmodern home on 1.8 acres in Sagaponack has been sold for $6 million, according to the Long Island Real Estate Report. The Daniels Lane home was sold by the estate of the late Barbara Skydel, who died earlier this year at the age of 69. Skydel was a pioneering woman in the talent booking industry, having represented such legendary rock and roll acts as Tom Petty, the Pretenders, The Who, Keith Richards and Suzanne Vega. U2 frontman Bono once referred to Skydel as "Aunty Barbara", one of the people who, "always looked after us in America, from the days when were just paddies fresh off the boat." Susan and Matthew Breitenbach of The Corcoran Group had the listing.
