Done Deals: A Month On The Market

A meticulously renovated pre-war Sutton Place co-op caught the eye of a decorator who snapped the two bedroom up for $1.475 million.

City Connections' Alida Rubin said her sellers put central air in, as well as custom cabinets, extended the height of entry ways, sound proofed the living room and had top-of-the line bath fixtures and appliances.

"The buyer was a decorator and knew the value of the renovations," said Rubin. "She loved the apartment and actually purchased a few pieces from the sellers."

The sellers were also top of the line and left the buyer a bottle of champagne in the wine fridge.

It was Corcoran's Beth Geraghty who brought in the buyer for 435 East 57th Street, which spent 70 days on the market after being listed at $1,650,000.
