REBNY's February Brooklyn Committee Meeting

Published: 3/12/2014Source: Brokers Weekly

There are still up-and-coming neighborhoods in Brooklyn as well as a whisper enclave, according to Douglas Steiner of Steiner NYC. The featured speaker at the Real Estate Board of New York's (REBNY) February Brooklyn Committee meeting, Steiner extolled the changes in Bed-Stuy, predicted that Sunset Park will shine brilliantly, and raved about the cultural scene and artistic residents in Boerum Hill. He believes Brooklyn's next wave of residents will include large numbers of college students, which will contribute greatly to a 24/7 community. Steiner NYC currently has three projects in development - two in Brooklyn and one in Manhattan. REBNY members were given unfettered access to all the plans and strategies for 815 Broadway (60 units) in Bush¬wick, Third & Flatbush and Schermerhorn across from BAM (750 units), and 438 East 12th Street (160 units).
