As a first time home buyer, and new to the challenging market that is NYC, I could not have asked for a better broker to work with. As I was extremely limited on time with work commitments John made the process seamless. He quickly tailored an exact search to cater to my specific needs. He was able to determine, just from meeting me once, what would be most pleasing to my aesthetic sensibilities. He does not take a ”one size fits all approach”. Within four viewings he found me my new home and I am thrilled with this gem! Not only dis he find the perfect location to suit my work/life balance, he was able to negotiate a price that suited my budget. He is very knowledgeable of the market and its tendencies. He always responded in a timely manner -- usually within minutes -- and his expertise in not only the neighborhood but the legal side of this transaction made the experience as a whole as pleasurable as possible.

We had a great experience working with John. We were looking for an investment property for my young, adult daughter to live in Brooklyn after her graduation from Syracuse University. John was very helpful and started sending info on properties right away. We used his recommendations for both a lawyer and lender that both worked out wonderfully. We wanted to find something quickly and also wanted a quick close so daughter could go straight from graduation to new home. We also wanted a lot of other things that we didn't want to concede on even though our price range didn't necessarily lend to getting those things in new york. but as luck (or john's skill) would have it, we didn't have to concede on any of our major wants at all. we found a great spot for her and feel great about our purchase.

John understood our needs well, and helped us find a dream home within our range. When visiting potential homes with us, he asked important and helpful questions, and helped us better understand what sorts of questions we should ask to vet a property properly. We found John to be extremely communicative throughout the whole process as well.

John was an invaluable part of our search for a co-op. He quickly helped us hone in on a reasonable budget, worked to understand our aesthetic, and promptly setup showings. Once we were in contract, he helped us navigate the typical purchase process along with a series of challenges including a bank failure and a delayed closing. His associate, Laura, was our point of contact for the board application and made that process clear and efficient. Thanks to John, we are now settling into a space that we love.

John is your go-to real estate person if you are ready to purchase, and also new to the real estate market. He was very knowledgeable about the co-op purchasing process, and was very hands-on. John consistently checks up with you and assures that the pieces are moving how they should be moving. He's a hard negotiator and helps with indecision. It is easy to not see the big picture when the co-op process is so long, but John assured that deadlines were on track.

John is AMAZING! I spent several months struggling to find my dream apartment in NYC. (I was doing my search virtually, from the West Coast, due to COVID travel restrictions.) The experience was slow and tedious until I met John. After a 10-minute introductory phone conversation, John sent me more than listings that matched my very specific requirements: location, floor, apartment, and in-unit appliances. Within four days, we had seen all the listings I was interested in and were in negotiations for the apartment I eventually bought. Many more hurdles followed, and John stuck with me through thick and thin; he advocated on my behalf and ensured all the involved parties were doing their part to get me into my home. John was amazing - he moved on the property we wanted to see so quickly we were the first in the see it, and he advised us on how to position ourselves as well to have our offer accepted. Many agents have tried to persuade me to list my apartment. I don't live there most of the time and i was keeping it for all the wrong reasons - sentimentality. john politely had me look at how much i am losing and reminded me that my apartment is still very desirable. He did speak candidly and advised me that my years of artistic "clutter" needed to be staged and was not at all insulting. in addition, he offered to do a lot of the heavy lifting such as staging etc. I have been approached by the best; but, with John, I know i have found someone even better. He listens and does not dismiss even the smallest of my concerns.
