I have known Jose for more than 5 years now through a mutual acquaintance and he has been my real estate agent since then. He has been the consumate professional and I have referred him to many of my friends and family. Jose is a phenomenal Agent. He takes the time to understand his client's needs and wants and helps them find the right place within their budget. He helped my but my home and then 3 years later, helped to get it rented out. He is great at negotiating price for both sides too! He has made my process very seamless and hands off for me, guiding me every step of the way.

Jose helped my husband and I find our first home. We looked at many towns in Hudson County and Jose had an abundance of knowledge everywhere we went, from the fastest bus to take to NYC, to the best Cuban food nearby. Jose helped us every step of the way, even after closing. His entire group (Akkus Group) was fast, responsive, and helped us make offers quickly. Jose helped us be competitive and also to negotiate at the appropriate times. I think we finally sealed the deal on the third property we made on offer on. We will be staying in touch with Jose - as he is as personable as he is professional. And will certainly be employing him and Akkus group again in the future.

From start to finish, Jose guided us through the process. He gave us confidence that we could get our asking price. In fact, we had multiple offers and sold it for over the asking! Jose provided service over and above what we expected, even taking care of changing smoke detectors and installing fire extinguishers in our 3-family to pass inspection. He also saved the sale from falling through when the buyer presented an issue by providing options for our lawyer to counter back. The transaction had its ups and downs, but we never worried since we felt truly taken care of. In my mind, Jose is the best realtor ever!
